According to the upcoming issue of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine, the second season of TV Anime Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun) will be aired in this Spring, starting from April 2013. Titled “Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S” (とある科学の超電磁砲S), the new season adaptation was announced at the Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival. The Opening Song will be performed by fripSide, who also performed both OPs during the first season of the show. The success of this spin-off was more than of the original show Toaru Majutsu no Index, whose movie adaptation will be premiered in February 2013.
