According to GAGAGA Bunko, the TV Anime of Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (やはり俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong As I Expected) was announced. The novel is written by Wataru Watari (渡航) and illustrated by Ponkan8 (ぽ んかん⑧). The story revolves around a high school boy Hachiman Hikigaya who has no friends but later makes many new ones. The series is very similar to Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Haganai, 僕は友達が少ない) written by Yomi Hirasaka’s (平坂 読).
The series had received quite a lot of attention on 2ch and a huge number of fans had left messages on the official website requesting an Anime adaptation of the series. Due to the huge demands, the wishes of the fans came true. The title can be shortened to either OreGirl (俺ガイル, OreGairu) or Hamachi (はまち) according to the author. Sounds like a spoof of Oreimo and Haganai, the series does has a lot connection with the latter besides the title, if the cute girl in the illustration above looks familiar to you. The series is so similar to Haganai and Oreimo that it would actually seem like a copy. But, fret not this series is totally original and as you well may imagine contains all the hilarious Japanese stereotypes. We’ll update you more on this when we receive new info. Stay tuned!!
The romantic comedy revolves around an antisocial high school student named Hachiman Hikigaya with a distorted view on life and no friends or girlfriend. When he see his classmates talking excitedly about living their adolescent lives, he mutters, “They’re a bunch of liars.” When he is asked about his future dreams, he responds, “Not working.” A teacher gets Hachiman to join the volunteer “service club,” which happens to have the school’s prettiest girl, Yukino Yukinoshita.
