According to the October issue of Shogakukan’s Corocoro Comic magazine, an all-new Pokémon game, Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Magnagate to Mugendai Meikyu (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth), will be released this winter for the Nintendo 3DS gaming console.
The story begins with the player turning into a Pokémon as if it were a dream. The player will then have to partner up with other Pokémon to explore the game. The game will be featuring the latest generation Pokémon such as Axew (Kibago), Oshawott (Mijumaru), Tepig (Pokabu), Snivy (Tsutaaja), and last but not least, our favorite Pikachu!
This new game will make use of the 3DS’s special capabilities and will use augmented reality technology to allow players scan objects in the real world that will then become “magnagates” that will open up new dungeons to explore within the game.
Update #1: Recently, the first promo video for the game was streamed.
